Monthly Munchies: June

Strawberry Banana

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 fresh banana, peeled
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse till smooth. If the mixture seems too thick add extra milk. If it seems too thin add extra strawberries or banana.
  2. Serve

Orange

Ingredients:

  • 4 fresh oranges, peeled
  • 2 cups ice
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey, if needed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.  Add more ice if you would like.

Pineapple

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½  cups pineapple juice
  • 1 banana cut in half
  • 1 ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ¾ cup vanilla yogurt
  • Fresh pineapple wedges and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place the pineapple juice, banana, frozen pineapple and vanilla Greek yogurt in a blender. 
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into glasses. If desire add a pineapple wedge and mint to the top of the glasses.
