Monthly Munchies: June
Strawberry Banana
Ingredients:
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 fresh banana, peeled
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse till smooth. If the mixture seems too thick add extra milk. If it seems too thin add extra strawberries or banana.
- Serve
Orange
Ingredients:
- 4 fresh oranges, peeled
- 2 cups ice
- ⅓ cup milk
- 1-2 tablespoons honey, if needed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Add more ice if you would like.
Pineapple
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups pineapple juice
- 1 banana cut in half
- 1 ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
- ¾ cup vanilla yogurt
- Fresh pineapple wedges and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Directions:
- Place the pineapple juice, banana, frozen pineapple and vanilla Greek yogurt in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses. If desire add a pineapple wedge and mint to the top of the glasses.
