The famous technological company, Apple, is about to release another set of its products after unveiling the launching of its newest operating system, iOS 26. As most individuals expected the next series to be iOS 19, this new announcement of iOS 26 came as a pleasant surprise. Apple’s motivations behind this “special launch” was to create something more “unique” and “captivating” to its viewers. The company is well known for its innovative and well-designed consumer electronics/software, which contains a user friendly interface. During a Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 9, Apple revealed iOS 26’s brand new operating system to the public. They showed that the system is set to have a “liquid glass-like wallpaper” which is claimed to enhance individual performance and give others more freedom when customizing their home and lock screens. Not only has the WWDC made the public feel more positively towards this launch, but an upcoming event on September 9 has also sparked a lot of excitement in the community. This new event called the “Awe Dropping” is expected to have a lot of advanced tech, mainly displaying Apple watches, iPhones, and iPads.
The new operating system will have; live translation in messages which would be available in Chinese (Simplified), English (UK, U.S.), French (France), German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain) when Apple Intelligence is enabled on a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac, as well as on Apple Watch Series 9 and later and Apple Watch Ultra 2 when paired with an Apple Intelligence–enabled iPhone. The live translation in Phone and FaceTime is available for one-on-one calls in English (UK, U.S.), French (France), German, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Spain) when Apple Intelligence is enabled on a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac. It will be available in Cantonese (China mainland, Hong Kong, Macao), English, French (Canada, France), German (Germany), Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese (China mainland, Macao, Taiwan), Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, U.S.).
Apple Intelligence will be available available in beta on all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad mini (A17 Pro), and iPad and Mac models with M1 and later, with Siri and device language set to the same supported language, as part of an iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia software update. Supported languages include English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified). More languages are coming over the course of the year, including Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages. Genmoji and image playground will be available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish when Apple Intelligence is enabled on a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
It is also set to be available for select songs in the following languages: English to Chinese (Simplified), English to Japanese, Korean to Chinese (Simplified), Korean to English, Korean to Japanese, and Spanish to English. The braille access will require a connected braille display. The live captions feature will be available in Cantonese (China mainland, Hong Kong), English (Australia, India, Singapore, UK, U.S.), French (Canada, France), German (Germany), Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese (China mainland), and Spanish (Mexico, Spain, U.S.). This incredible operating system will be available in the following languages and countries: in English (Australia, Canada, India, Singapore, UK, U.S.), French (France), German (Germany), Japanese, Mandarin Chinese (China mainland), Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish (Mexico, Spain, U.S.). CarPlay support is either standard or available as an option on many new 2016 cars and later, with some manufacturers offering software updates for earlier models. Some models may support CarPlay only in certain configurations, and not all models are available in all areas. CarPlay support is subject to change.
The iOS 26 will be compatible and available starting from iPhone 12 to later. Though the features have been shown by the company, they are subject to change. Some features, applications, and services may not be available in all regions or all languages. Apple is also set to release the new iPhone series 17 which will be: 17, 17 air model, 17 pro and 17 pro max. Apple did not show how the new iPhone 17 design will look like.
Apple has also set the “Awe Dropping” event coming up on September 9, this year which is where they will release the new iOS 26, the iPhone 17 series, Apple watches and the new air pods.
