Boys Basketball Rebounds Against the Cougars

Pure domination. That is the only way to describe the boys basketball team’s performance against the Oakton Cougars (5-9, 0-3) Friday night in Vienna.

The Rams (11-4, 2-1) led from the start and senior forward Nate Holyfield hit a three pointer while falling backwards to cap an offensive first quarter.

The Rams exploited the Cougars’ zone defense with a mix of outside shooting, five three pointers, and interior scoring. 10 Robinson players scored in the victory, with three players in double figures; senior guard Tristian Crenshaw led the Rams with 12 points, junior guard Nathan Hackett and junior forward Keegan Ruddy had 10 points each.

After their first district loss on Tuesday, the Rams moved on this Friday and they continue district play next Tuesday against Chantilly.
