Business as Usual for Robinson Fall Sports: Sept. 19 and Beyond

Robinson athletic events continue right along as the Rams officially enter the fourth week of school.

First, on Tuesday, Sept. 19, freshman girls volleyball takes on Lake Braddock, which is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM on the road. At 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM respectively, JV and varsity girls volleyball are set to play, also at Lake Braddock. Then, at 6:15 PM, JV field hockey plays Lake Braddock at home, followed by the varsity game at 7:30 PM.

* UPDATES (for Sept. 19 matches)* Varsity volleyball beat Lake Braddock. Varsity field hockey also beat Lake Braddock 1-0, while JV field hockey’s match ended in a tie.

Then, following a two-day hiatus from officially scheduled athletic events, JV and varsity field hockey play Oakton at home on Friday, set to start at 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM respectively.

Next, at 9:00 AM on Saturday, girls JV (at Langley), freshman (at Langley), and varsity (at home) volleyball will go up against Langley as part of the Dig Pink Tournament. The tournament will continue as Robinson takes on Briar Woods at the following times and locations: JV at 10:30 AM (at Langley), varsity at noon (at home), and freshman also at noon (at Langley).
