Moving Towards the Spring Sports Season: Key Events for Feb. 21 and Beyond

With the final events for winter athletics set to take place this week, Robinson sports moves towards its spring sports season. Basketball: (UPDATED) Boys varsity basketball competed against Battlefield in a must-win game, starting at 7:30 PM on Tuesday night. The game was in the first round of the regional tournament, and the Rams had to pull out a win to advance and keep their season alive. Unfortunately, boys varsity lost in a nail-biter, by a score of 59 to 57.

CoEd Winter Indoor Track: On Friday, the team competes at the VHSL 6A State CHampionship, set to take place at Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, VA, starting at noon. The championship continues at 8:00 AM the following day; this is an event to watch.
