Looking Ahead to Robinson Sports: Jan. 9 and Beyond

Robinson sports continue as the Rams head into their first full week of the new year.
On Monday, Jan. 9, JV wrestling competed in the JV Jamboree, which began at 6:00 PM at McLean.
On Tuesday, Jan. 10, all Rams basketball teams competed against Chantilly, with boys teams playing at home and girls teams playing on the road. Boys and girls freshman games started at 4:30 PM, followed by boys and girls JV games at 5:45 PM and boys and girls varsity games at 7:30 PM.
Then, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, varsity rifle will compete against West Potomac at home, with the event set to commence at 4:00 PM. Varsity wrestling will compete in the Beauty and the Beast tournament at Robinson, starting at 5:00 PM. Finally, varsity gymnastics will participate in a tournament set to begin at 6:30 PM, which will also take place at home.
There is only one event scheduled to take place on Thursday, Jan. 12, when JV wrestling competes at South Lakes at 6:00 PM.
On Friday, Jan. 13, all Robinson basketball teams will face off against Oakton, with boys teams once again at home and girls teams set to play at Oakton. All teams will follow their normal game times, which are the same as the game times from Tuesday. In addition, coed winter indoor track is set to participate in an event at Thomas Jefferson Middle School, starting at 5:00 PM. Swim and dive (boys and girls) will compete against Oakton at Oak Marr RECenter at 6:00 PM.
Lastly, coed winter indoor track is set to compete at 8:00 AM on the road on Saturday, Jan. 14, with varsity wrestling scheduled to participate in the Escape the Rock tournament at Council Rock High School South, in Pennsylvania. The event will begin at 9:00 AM.
