Looking Ahead to Robinson Sports: Nov. 28 and Beyond

As mentioned in last week’s sports overview, on Tuesday, Nov. 29, all boys and girls basketball teams will see their first real game action. All teams will play against Woodson High School. The boys basketball teams will play at Woodson, and girls basketball will play at Robinson. Both (boys and girls) freshman basketball games will begin at 4:30 PM, with both JV games set to start at 5:45 PM and both varsity games to commence at 7:30 PM.

On Thursday, Dec. 1, JV Wrestling competes at Centreville High School, with the event set to start at 6:00 PM. Also on Thursday, Robinson girls varsity basketball will play McLean at Annandale, while boys varsity will play South Lakes on the road. Both basketball contests will begin at 7:30 PM.

On Friday, Dec. 2, girls varsity basketball will play Broad Run at Annandale, and boys varsity will play James Madison at South Lakes; both games will tip off at 5:45 PM. Boys and girls swim and dive will go up against Westfield at South Run at 6:30 PM on Friday.

Varsity wrestling will compete at Skyline Elite at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Dec. 3. Lastly, girls freshman, JV, and varsity basketball all play Bishop Ireton at home on that same Saturday, with games beginning at 2:30 PM, 3:45 PM, and 5:30 PM, respectively.
