Monthly Munchies: August


  • Cooking Spray
  • 1 box of puff pastry, thawed at room temperature and cut into strips
  • ⅓ cup of peach jam
  • 3 ripe peaches, thinly sliced into half moons
  • powdered sugar, for dusting



  1. Begin with preheating the oven to 375 degrees. Then prepare a cupcake tray by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray. Spread jam on puff pastry strips. Coat peaches on the top half of the puff pastry designed as a rainbow so they overlap and the top half of the peaches are off the pastry.
  2. Turn over the bottom half of the pastry and roll it tightly.
  3. Transfer the prepared pastry to the cupcake tray. Repeat this process until the cupcake tray is fully covered.
  4. Bake until golden, this may take about 25 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the top of the pastry with powdered sugar and serve. (Best to wait until the pastry is cool.)
