Another Busy Week for Robinson Sports: Key Events for This Week and Beyond

An action-packed week of athletic events is slated to take place as Robinson spring sports head towards the end of the season.

On Monday, May 8, first-round girls tennis matches (singles) for the conference tournament are set to commence at 3:30 PM, followed by doubles matches at 5:00 PM. Then, at 5:45 PM, boys JV soccer takes on Broad Run on the road.

At 3:30 PM on Tuesday, May 9, girls tennis quarterfinals matches (singles) begin, followed by doubles matches once again at 5:00 PM. At 5:45 PM, girls (home) and boys (away) JV soccer take on Briar Woods. Next, at 6:30 PM, varsity baseball and softball both play against Herndon at home as JV baseball plays Herndon on the road. Finally, at 7:15 PM, boys (away) and girls (home) varsity soccer both match up against Briar Woods.

Then, on Wednesday, May 10, girls tennis competes in the conference tournament semifinals at 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM respectively for singles and doubles matches. Later, at 6:30 PM, JV softball and baseball (both home), along with varsity softball (away), play games against Oakton. At 7:30 PM, boys varsity lacrosse also takes on Oakton at Coffey Stadium.

On Thursday, May 11, girls tennis conference tournament finals are set to take place at the same singles and doubles start times as the preceding rounds. In addition, co-ed varsity outdoor track is scheduled to compete in the Spring Festival at Coffey Stadium, starting at 4:00 PM.

Next, on Friday, May 12, varsity softball competes in the first round of the Concorde conference tournament, starting at 6:30 PM. At 7:15 PM, boys varsity lacrosse will participate in the conference finals at Coffey Stadium.

Lastly, on Saturday, May 13, varsity crew will compete in the second day of the Virginia Scholastic Rowing Championships, starting at 8:00 AM at Sandy Run Regional Park
